multiple domains pointing to the same website with the same content are not a good idea and can get you penalised by Google ranking wise - I would not recommend it at all. Ask yourself this - if having multiple domains was a good idea then why do no large ecommerce websites do it?
If ebay doesnt do it then you can probably bet its a bad idea for you to do it as well.
