You may be aware that I do all the admin work for a small association in the Cleaning Industry.
What sets us apart from the other larger associations of the industry is that we do everthing online, we also offer mentoring, networking and business building to our members.
I have stated in another post that often small business soloists are very good at the technicalities of their trade, but often lack the skills required to run and develop their business.The latter is what our association is trying to do.
( I'm not saying its the blind leading the blind, but some of us are getting a bit long in the tooth and things change)

I am looking for a small business course to offer our members. So far the Australian Institute of Management can tailor a course to suite but our association would have to join as a corporate partner which would add an extra cost of somewhere between $ 700.00 and $ 1700.00 depending on whether we become members in one state or become a National member.

Understandably ICAN members are not to excited about spending money we havent got ( to spare), so I thought with so many tallented people on this forum I would seek your imput.

As you may be aware starting an association from scratch has its moments and has been a great learning curve for me, then to run it on the internet has been a lot of fun.

Also please feel free to send me an email should you have products and or services that ICAN members may be interested in, that way you wont have to latently advertise your product or services .

Our membership at this stage is 34 but we are associated with another forum which attracts carpet cleaners from all around the world.
