Thanks for the endorsements guys. Some accountants are also registered financial planners (I'm not) so whoever you go to make sure they are appropriately qualified. As Michael says, you probably need a combination of advisors.
There are different specialiities (such as tax or audit) within accountancy - and not all financial services require an accountant (financial planning is a profession in its own right). My accountancy speciality is in the management arena.
Numberz offers a financial controller or CFO service to small and medium business who need an in-house financial professional but either not on a full-time basis or it is a function they choose to outsource.
