Well I don't know why he was late this time. I said to him I just don't want to hear excuses, so this time he's like "I'm not even going to give you an excuse." In the end the excuses don't matter.
I told him unless there is a personal tragedy (like someone god forbid dying etc.) then of course that's fine. But how often does that really happen?
I spoke to a mentor of mine and from what he's heard he believes that the guy is just distracted (he's got a lot of commitments and things). It's hard for me.
I've basically said to him if he stuffs up again I'm just going to leave him to his own devices... he's the one that's doing the digital video production and I'm finding the clients and organizing the business - website, business cards, office etc.
