You may have seen Robert's recent forum post about a journalist calling for 'grandpreneurs', the story ended up as a segment on A Current Affair.

"Retirement should mean never having to work another day in your life. But the latest statistics show half of us won't have enough money to retire comfortably - and that's prompting the rise of the grey entrepreneur; retirees re-inventing themselves, starting up new businesses, and succeeding."

Very interesting, however many retirees just like giving back what they themselves received during their working life.

Some of us just dont like retirement.

Having worked over 50 years 6 days a week suddenly having nothing to do affects self esteem and everthing else that goes with not being useful.

Many retirees do Volunteering because they dont need the income, and those that do work for an income do it to help suppliment the pension.
