Your thoughts please

Below are two draft design concepts for a new training type DVD for small business owners / network marketers. At this stage the "copy" is likely to change - fonts and perhaps the colors etc. However I would really like some feedback on the background graphic. Which one do you like and why ?

I like them both but I prefer the second one because it's less cliche and a bit simpler.

I think the second one too. It is much easier to read - with less info all over the place, and the graphic is good.

Another vote for the second one, its less busy and the sub heading is easier to read.

Is that the papyrus font being used?

I prefer the second one as well. The picture speaks to the series title 'Follow The Leaders'. It is also more simplistic and easy on the eye.

I get attached to the design process sometimes and it helps greatly to get independant feedback, please keep it coming - it really helps when one is about to invest funds in to the production of a new product. Very appreciate !!!

The font is Tempus Sans ITC
Not one I would usually use but I wanted a relaxed, trendy kinda vibe to the cover.

BTW, love the "follow the leaders" logo.

Yet another vote for the second one. The first image is too busy and messy with the footprints. And I don't get the hands in the air.

I would like to see the warning label in the lower left corner. That would leave the image even cleaner and clearer.

I like the fonts.

I prefer the second one too.
First one is too busy.

(Although I'm a bit puzzled by the use of footprints in the sand as a motif for a dose of wisdom from leaders in the direct selling industry.)
