Default Website Feedback

Hey Guys,

I launched my new online business last week. Prior to launch, I did as much testing as I could and got as many people to provide feedback as I could, but none of them were business owners. I would really appreciate some feedback.

http://www.cutmeup.com.au/

We convert our clients web design files (PSD, AI, PNG) to HTML. There exists many of these businesses online, but my angle is that we are 100% Australian owned and run - most similar businesses are run out of Asia (cheap labor), and due to communication problems, their quality can be sub-par.

Thanks guys!

Great service.... My suggestions:

Too much space between the text on the slider and the images. fill it with an image or lose the slider or together..

On the slider add a psd then show it in a website frame or something like that get people feeling what you do.

The order button at the top needs to go.. I would use something like GET STARTED.

Remove the Proudly Australian unless you actually have something better to say about it your telling your visitors to go find it cheaper elswhere. (some people may sacrifice time and delay for cheap labour dont give them the chance to look elsewhere)

Your repeating your slides... in the boxes under it... under the slider to the right remove the 110% and add a button INSTANT Quote lead it to same place as above button.

Put your testimonials right under that button.

Thats it for now. Oh and i feel like that slider is so dark that your actually going to cutmeup... So make it come alive with more pics and colours like i suggested above

I tend to agree with Phillip,

While claiming you are Australian is a benefit, it's not a strong benefit. People are looking for a good result at a reasonable price - from someone that they trust.

Plaster your best testimonial on the home page and show me your portfolio. I also would like to see a contact page to know if I can email / skype or call you.

If you're claiming you're Australian and can therefore respond same day, I would expect that fast communication would be a strength you would promote - either by taking phone calls or Skype calls. Or guaranteeing to respond to emails within 1-2 hours. But in the end this is secondary - as I said earlier people want to see portfolios and want evidence that they can trust you with their business.

Good luck.
