Default Gift Cards design

This is the final version of our new Gift Cards, and I would like to ask the opinion of the fantastic flying solo members.

http://adventurefriends.com.au/coupon-cards/

We'll make them in plastic, credit card size, and the unique code will be printed on a termal label and attached on the back. We will mainly use them as present for good customers and recovery.

Any suggestion about layout and text will be much appreciated.

Rico

Great Wendy, thanks

The "Hinking" has been fixed (I still have nightmares!!!) but probably the old image is still in your computer cache. I'll never be able to thank you enough for that!

Hi Rico,

I think the design is interesting to look at and engaging. A few other things I noticed:

1. The card doesn't showcase your logo, only your url. This may have been deliberate due to space restrictions - but your logo is the face of your online business and show should feature in all communications for awareness and recognition

2. I found the word 'Giftcard' a bit hard to read. Although it does look quite stylish. My view is that style should never trump legibility. Perhaps ask others without a vested interest whether they can read the card

3. The gift card doesn't actually spell out what you do or sell. Not sure what technical gear is.... cables? If I had never heard of you and I received this card as a gift, what do you want me to think of you? Position yourself with a sentence and then perhaps provide some dot points as to what you provide. Keep it all succinct though

Thanks a lot David

The logo is there, but it is in the same color of the background, so now I see that it is only evident to people that know what to look for. Those details are the kind of things easily missed by people too involved in a project.
You need someone from outside like you, and I appreciate it a lot.

I am going to talk to my designer, and I will ask him to look into those changes.

Cheers,
Rico

Best feature - the monetary value is clear and easy to read- big plus.
Lacking perhaps - I'd use the card to reiterate the mission of your business.

I agree, logo not crystal clear.

Good luck, look stlyish!

I like your gift cards. They look great and I esp like the different colours for the different amounts. Makes it easier to find, esp if you have kids!

I agree with having your logo being put somewhere you can see it straight away when you look at the card. I also agree with the "Gift Card" wording is a bit difficult to see properly with the background showing through.

You have some great products on your website. Good Luck with it all!

I like the look of your "on sale" graphic in the left sidebar - this style would look great incorporated into the gift cards. Also, you need to include your logo.
