Am I crazy?

I have been working in building a huge network of directories in Australia.
The directories are not "normal directories" in fact they are pretty unique.

100% human generated content.
Mainly based on interviews.

The sites are simply but FULL of content.

Examples
www.topbusinesscoaches.com.au
www.toplifecoaches.com.au
www.topweddingcakes.com.au (yep! Wedding cakes)
www.topcleaningcompanies.com.au

Any feedback?
(not so much about design...but overall idea)

I love the idea. So to answer your thread title - no, I don't think you're crazy...
Think it's great to build a network on contect and quality information like this...

I did notice a typo - when I clicked on top business coaches, the list at the right hand side of your other 'top' websites says:

Top Commercia Photographers (thinking this should be Commercial..) And, photographers don't even seem to be on the list at your Top life coaches or top wedding cake sites.

If you ever expand to include "Top Trademark Registration Companies" or something to this effect, I would love to know of it and complete the interview to be included etc

I will love to have you on the cleaning companies .
The 1st stage is to have the site build, then to build consumers...
On the launching stage it doesn't cost a thing to join... and placement is free for life on the new sites.

I don't think this is a crazy idea at all! There are so many people out there trying to advertise their services but are so vague as to what their service actually is! I think this way the company can provide enough relevant information for the consumer to make a justified choice.

I like your idea of splitting it into markets per domain. I think that would make it far more valuable to readers.
