Re: Please review my website & sales pages
I was worried that Mike's response is the one you would get ...
You're right Karen - they DO work. Just because people think they hate them, it doesn't mean they don't work.
I really hate this attitude of "I don't like them so don't do them" - fact is, they work, when done right.
My input - You need to break the text up with some pictures ... have a look at my link below. I can't take credit for it, my team put the page together - but we've had a bunch of critical acclaim for it (and the conversions have been excellent).
Because there's so much text on a sales page, you need to make sure you break it up, otherwise, the eye finds it really hard to read.
Are you split testing copy? It's not bad, but I wonder if you would make more conversions if you DIDN'T talk about "despite the current economy". I've been closing presentations over the last few weeks with how GREAT the economy is and how the timing is perfect to do everything you always wanted to do - with really good results. In person is different to online, so you want to test ... but something to think about.
It's probably worth having a pro copywriter do a critique - someone to go over it and give you some ideas. Before you engage 'any' copywriter, ask to see the results they've gotten for their clients. There are a lot of people out there claiming to be copywriters, but a copywriter is only as good as the ROI their clients have made. Any copywriter worth their salt will have records of how much money their clients have made from various campaigns.
You want to have multiple opt-in options - one near the top, one around a third of the way down (even if they're just buttons that link to your main opt-in area down the bottom of the page).
