Hi all!

I've recently redesigned one of my websites and am hoping you guys can have a look and let me know your honest opinions in regards to the look, usability, and professionalism of the site.

The image I want to project for my website is that of being fun and unique yet it needs to be professional of course so that people do trust it enough to buy with us.

I've used bright colours on the website as this seems to be the trend for other wedding websites.

It's neat and uniform, easy to navigate around.

I don't like your header though. It's not very defined, your name just looks part of the background. The background also looks squashed.

Thanks Chris! I know what you mean. I'm just wondering if there is anyone who can design a webpage header for me?

Nothing really stand outs. Too many typography faults like bad kerning, widows and wrong alignment. Colours are pale and sickly. Flower pattern has little relevance to the main product and that background speckle pattern serves no purpose other than to distract the eye.

Had a quick look - noticed that in IE the sidebar on the right is at the bottom of the page on the home page ?? but in Firefox the page looks fine :-)

maybe it's my computer error?

I think you should make the background white. Look at how nice and clean flyingsolo looks with a white background. That background is ugly.

The footer's height can be shorter, It's too high for just one line of text.

Lovely business you have!!! Its always nice to be involved with weddings because your customers are happy and in love ahhhhh
Anyway: with everyones else suggestions and maybe have a look into changing the font in: start shopping... its a little bit hard to read and you want to entice people to START SHOPPING! now click!

Hi,

you know one of the best things you can do is find a competitor that's doing really well and copy it.

Embed your own flavor of course and don't "trace" the site but copy it's principles.

The reason for this is that they more than likely have spent $10,000's - $100,000's getting it right and testing the hell out of the elements.

Let someone else invest all of the time, money and testing and copy it.

you also need an opt-in box to capture peoples names
