Default Management Training Website - branding question

Hi
I have been self employed for 20 years, helping businesses with anything to do with training, learning and development. I have worked mostly in the medical device and pharmaceutical industry, but have also completed contracts across a wide range of sectors. It doesn't matter what the subject, the approach is generally the same.
My company name is In-Tuition, reflecting the fact that I work mostly in company, and I love to develop employees to be able to pass their knowledge and skills on to others.
In the last few months I have been developing a site for new managers, covering tips on a range of subjects such as time management, communication, teamwork, performance appraisal and so on.
I called it www.practical-management-skills.com, as I thought it would help with the search engines.
I bought the www.in-tuition.ie address and all clicks on that are automatically redirected to www.practical-management-skills.com.
Is this confusing for people? I currently have my In-Tuition logo at the bottom of each page. Any advice on this issue or in general to improve the site would be most appreciated!

Thanks
Ann

Hi Ann,

This could be confusing for some - but if you let customers know what's happening along the way you should be fine. You could place a timer on your redirect page for say 5 seconds while displaying relevant information there. So when a customer goes to your web address > the redirect page appears > tell them something like 'Redirecting to our new homepage...Please wait...' You can even place your logo here for reassurance. > Then they land at your new address.

I think as long as end users are aware of the process they won't think 'Hey - I didn't want to go to that url!' (well some might!)

If you need clarification on this just ask.

Regards,

JAD

Thanks, that's a great idea! I will talk to my web hosting company. I have also put a copy of my logo near the top of every page, so hopefully that will help as well.
Regards
Ann
