Hi Blondie

It's a nice looking site easy to navigate, clean and uncluttered. So I like it.

Not sure about the roses and I thought I had gone to a florists site initially.
Also the picture takes up alot of real estate on the page. I know a picture tells a thousand words, but the roses don't tell me anything other than the designer of your site liked it lots.
Maybe a collage of the photos of the 39 in the gallery of the hotel/motel which could include the lovely roses picture. Especially the one of the group of people having a great social get together. I also like the night scene of the hotel too. Pictures that tell a little story and help to promote your Hotel would be better.

A small issue in the scheme of things but I do like your site.

All the best
Michael

It's a good looking site and easy to navigate.

I would say that it lacks some kind of branding though.

As mentioned before, the Roses at the top of the pages are nice but you would probably need to generate some recognition. You're logo or a photo of the Motel's badge/sign would mean that I would recognise when I was driving there immediately.

Other than that though, it's great!

from a marketing perspective, your sign up box needs to be above the fold, preferably in the top right hand corner.

And try to offer some other incentive rather than a newsletter to sign up. What do you do with your database when you have their email address? How important to you is your visitors details?

Rather than the roses as the header, why not a photo of your establishment?

Your header text blends in with the background so it's kind of hard to see.

And if possible, get rid of the wordpress theme logo down the bottom of the page.

Try to swap your latest news with your pages and help people to navigate through your site easily.

Love the colours and I do love the pictures of the roses, but maybe not as your header - you need some more branding images there.

Hi

I agree with Divapromotion. You may want to put your establishment picture rather than the roses. The overall site is nice, and easy to navigate. Now, in terms of your on page optimization, you can have a look at some seo tips on my site. It will help your site rank better in Google (well depend on your keywords selection).

Overall, it is a nice site!

Hi Blondie!

I do like your new site!

Having stayed there and enjoyed your hospitality makes it easier for me to recognise the motel in the background of 'the roses' photo.

Am wondering if you're using the 'roses' photos in keeping with the "Bed of Roses" TV production that is happening down there, and the fact that you have a lot of beds at your place? Or is that drawing too long a bow?

Anyway - it's looking good, whichever way you look at it!

B.B.

Thanks every body for your comments they are greatly appreciated. We are looking at a different photo for header, that was the only one we had at the time we were setting it up. Some more changes will be made over the next few days so please if you have time go back and look again.

You may not be looking for any further comments as it's been a while since you requested feedback, but ... here goes:

I like the new photo. Of course I didn't see the previous one, but it seems more appropriate than roses (?).

While I'm commenting, I'd lose the Google ads (unless they're making you zillions of dollars; if they are, keep 'em) and the website visitors counter.

I'd also put the 'Testimonials' and 'Special Fun Package' on your main menu (instead of, say, 'Prom Country Bike Hire'), as I didn't see them until after I'd scanned the rest of the page.

I like the use of Googlemaps (yeah?) on your site. Very nice.

I don't mind the picture gallery per se, but I think people are probably going to be mainly interested in seeing the rooms so you should make that easier for them.

OK, I'll stop now, just in case the point is, in fact, moot.
