Major congrats, even if a bit late!

My apologies, I just realised I still haven't posted my congratulations on the wonderful event that was Flying Solo Live! Every time I drop in, I get distracted and work takes over!

Robert, Sam and Peter, FSLive was a quality event that was extremely well organised and definitely worth attending. Not only did I enjoy the presentations delivered by the speakers, but I was able to meet in person, many people with whom I have worked and communicated online over the last several months.

If I could make a suggestion for the next one, it would be to provide banks of mobile phone chargers so we can all top up the juice throughout the day. Many of us were keen to deliver live tweets to those who weren't able to attend but, speaking personally, I had to ration them according to the battery power remaining on my phone. Next time, I'll bring my charger and hook it up to a power point.

Aside from that small recommendation, you and your entire team did a great job pulling together, in person, what is already a superb virtual networking community. It's an honour to be associated with the Flying Solo brand as a Contributor and a pleasure to mingle on the forums with likeminded small business owners.

Congratulations and may the contemplated Flying Solo National Roadshow become a reality very soon. (Secretly though, I'll still turn up in Sydney for an excuse to enjoy the change of scenery!)

It sounds like a great event Gina. I had penciled this in as my year to finally get to FS Live but the timing couldn't have been any worse for me unfortunately.

Mike, you are one of my absolute 'must-meet people'. We work together all the time and I was counting on seeing you in person at Flying Solo Live. All is forgiven though, and maybe I'll use you as an excuse to come down and visit Lygon St, um, I mean, Melbourne ... on business!
