hi Ben here, i'm wanting to import canned meat from the usa to sell in australia, i keep getting different answers about the laws of bring in food, the customs site says i can and then the company in the usa says that wont let them. can a import broker help me with this? this is my first attempt at anything like this so i dont really know what i'm doing, any help would be much appreciated, cheers, ben

Jason sent me here from the forums. I am looking to find the cheapest possible way to ship 48 soap holders from Guand Zhou to Perth. I was originally quotes USD$300 and now they have given the Guang Zhou company a discount to USD$210. My soap holders only cost me $96, so this price is still a bit high for me. Can you recommend me a airmail or shipping option for my parcel - It measures 29.5x 28.5x 32.5CM and it is approx 10kgs.

I'm so sorry to bug you on this, but you kindly suggested DHL for international shipping for me recently and I was hoping for some clarification please.
With the specs I sent (40 x 30 x 30cm, 8kg) you suggested a cost of about $150 and since I now have another potential customer from the USA I went onto dhl.com.au to get a quote and they're telling me $350-400.
Perhaps I'm doing something wrong or missing a trick you have? I'd appreciate any suggestions you can provide.
