I might be a bit late but I thought I'd offer my design services to help with your blog website - in case you hadn't yet found anyone and decided you wanted the help.

I can do a Wordpress site for around $550 (roughly 9 hours work + purchase of theme + showing you how to use the CMS).

We would start by looking at your requirements and working out your page hierarchy, we'd then look for a suitable theme and make the appropriate alterations to the theme based on your company branding. After this we would upload the content you need and vuala, you will have a professional and clean website that is fully supported and easy to manage and change.
