Default Eftpos

Hi,

I own a travel agency and ever since we opened i have applied for eftpos
at Westpac and CWB where we have business account also but application has always been rejected or they ask for high amount like 80,000 AUD as deposit.
Is there anyway or any other option to get Eftpos? My business really needs it.

im fairly sure i've seen other posts on this before.. if not here, then elsewhere
but here's a few things that might help:

try talking ot other institutions.

there are some non-institution based places around that offer eftpos.. i'm just struggling to find them, or dig out of my memory.
could also try this mob:

I use LiveEFTPOS - the fee is 2.5% of the sale. That's it.
If you have a lot going through, you may be able to negotiate a lower fee. If you don't ask, you don't find out.

The terminal is wireless & can run on battery - making it portable.
You can ask for a car charger if you need one.
Rolls are supplied. (or were when I got mine)
You get paid twice weekly.

I've had not problems with it.

It will appear as TaxiPay or LiveEFTPOS on the customer's statement.
Not ideal, but it might be enough to get you started so you can approach a bank later.
