Default Best accounting software to input PP transactions

I (well my accountant - Hi Soph if you're reading this) currently use MYOB, simply because that is what I have used when I first set up the business years ago.

I get a lot of Paypal transactions daily and someone mentioned using Saasu or Zero as it will automatically input PP data.

I'd love to hear more if anyone uses it, and whether it's worth the $ when I already have an accountant and accounting package ie, will it actually make the accountants job easier.

And yes, I have an appointment with my accountant on Monday, just wanted to get some feedback from other users first.....

Xero all the way.

Savvy Accountants are starting to use it.

Go with Xero. Set up the Paypal bank feed and have every days transactions available for you the next morning in Xero.

That applies for your bank accounts and Paypal account. Once you've used it and seen how easy it is you will never go back to MYOB.

The bank feeds (and PayPal feed) in Xero is more advanced with regards to automation. Xero also has the better reporting functions.
Saasu on the other hand comes in at half the price and lets you handle the entries more directly. It is easier to duplicate, delete, etc. If you sell products and need to manage inventory, Saasu is the way to go.

If you have PayPal transactions, you might be able integrate even more tightly (e.g. products and client contact details) between your online shop (or ebay) and your accounting software. OneSaas is a connector that makes that possible.

Your questions was about what makes it easier for your accountant. That depends on how flexible she is. Both Xero and Saasu are easy and intuitive and every accountant will understand them. The question is whether she will change her back office systems to take full advantage of what they offer.

From an accountants perspective Xero is probably the better choice, as they focus heavily on providing tools and support to accountant partners.

We offer conversions from MYOB to Xero (free for anyone who gets the subscription through us). It means that you have all your details (contacts, items, accounts, historical figures) in Xero (or Saasu) and can keep going without losing any time.

The time savings that the bank feeds offer are definitely worthwhile getting started with Xero or Saasu quickly.

All the best
Alexander
