Hi All,
I have been putting my bank details on invoices for a few years now, am at present thinking of restricting who I offer that payment option too.
Why?????
Well we have had the cheques in the mail for years - if it did not turn up in 3 days you knew it was not and to ring up.
As a tradie I require payment on completion of the job, customers now say to me, "I will put that through tonight when I am on the computer". After a couple of days and not seeing money in my account I have to ring or e-mail to then get "oh had a problem with my ISP, my computer got a virus, sorry the kids were on the computer all night I didn't get a chance" etc etc
While it is convenient it still needs management.
Just a thought
