My invoices include bank details for direct deposit, MasterCard and Visa.
I would say 80-90% pay on direct deposit.

However, if it's an overseas transaction I send a PayPal invoice and get paid into that account. It's easier and I don't have to worry about the converting. I bill the client in US dollars and then let PayPal convert it when I receive it.

Cheers.

Wouldn't this provide an opportunity for fraudulent activity?

All my invoices have bank details on them, also a polite reminder to reference the invoice number when paying.

Not if you take normal security precautions with your bank details eg strong password for online banking, regularly changed

I give out my account number as it's much easier to be paid by EFT or even for someone (not me) to deposit at a bank branch.......

I started doing this several years ago, and it has been great.
For some reason my customers prefer to pay this way as they often dont have the cash on them for the work i do.

I was a bit hesitant at first but its the modern way to go and soon we will be a cashless society. Dont be left behind

Yes, I have my bank account details on all my invoices, I thought it's a legal requirement anyway?
Ca. 90% of my customers pay by direct deposit.

No, it's not a requirement - legal or other wise. It is a convenience for both you and your customer.

Thanks for the comments guys, initially I was a bit hesitant to put my bank details on my invoices but hey I'll give it go! I think I will actually get payment a bit quicker this way too (EFT)
