Financial Advisor Required

Hi all - I'm in the very beginning stages of starting my business (it's a few years away yet) however I would like to meet with a financial advisor that specialises in small business to assist me in moving forward in the right direction.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I am in Sydney.

They should be able to assist with basic questions and guidance and refer you to experts for anything they can't handle.
I used them a couple of times here and although they didn't actually contribute anything significant, it's still great to be able to talk with someone about an idea and get non biased opinion (ie. as opposed to friends and family).
They did organise a free appointment with an accountant and organise a meeting with the tax office which helped me greatly.

you need to be cetain of the type or advice and support you require

if your starting a business , i suspect you dont really need a financial planner. they tend to be concerned with investments and wealth management.

I suspect you need a good small business accountant , some one more than a tax agent , a CPA or Chatered accountant wh can help you with advice in respect to structure , borrowings and operational issues
