 Technical Officer/Database Admin - Interesting Opportunity
Hi all,
I have been asked to help source a Data(base) Administrator with the following (loose) brief - I am hoping that someone out there may be able to refer someone or even help me refine what I am looking for. Company
Specialising in supplying a niche product to the civil construction sector, the company has grown significantly and needs to organise its supply chain and customer management. A 'techy' person is required to support in several aspects: - Install and Configure new CRM / Sales tool - likely to be Brightpearl
- Set up business rules, processes and documentation for technical aspects
- Create document templates for use with CRM (invoices, quotes etc)
- Integration with relevant APIs - either creating or knowing where to go to get them done (Payment management, customer interaction)
- General level of skill in websites, php and databases
- Support sales of product through organising a fairly complex supply chain into a greater level of structure
- Support CRM / Marketing activity (setting up templates, monitoring performance)
- Guide the 'non-techy' part of the business on such things as cloud computing, remote offices, website, new technology etc.
All in all, it is to fill a gap between the business and potential technical efficiencies - a good business head coupled with strong problem solving and exposure to a range or technologies is needed.
This is seen as 'Phase 1' - 'Phase 2' will be similar activity but on the launch of a new venture with a new product.
It is a full time role at with salary to be negotiated. I see it as an exciting opportunity which could lead to much bigger things.
