Can anyone recommend a good SME accountant in Melbourne

Hi all
A client of mine is looking for a new accountant. He is based in the western suburbs of Melbourne and wants somebody local as he prefers to deal with them in person at least some of the time.

Can anyone give me a referral? We are specifically looking for someone who can advise on strategic matters (rather than doing straight tax advice).

Happy New Year

If your client is still seaching, I am happy to meet with him to discuss his needs, though I am in Sydney I visit Melbourne for business a number of times a year so I do not think face to face meetings will be an issue. In fact I have a client in Melbourne that I see more often then some of my Sydney clients.

The travel is not charged to clients it is bourne by us, unless it is Due Dillgence work and we need to spend a few days, part of accomodation may be charged depending on assignment.

Not sure where they are based in Melbourne though. I had a client come through from them as they specifically required a local accountant due to their move. SY Group was meticulous with their paperwork, genuinely pleasant and very prompt in passing over the Engagement.
