Default The Red Tent - Women's Networking Event

Not sure how many of you are familiar with the Red Tent events, but these are my FAVOURITE networking events in Melbourne! It's a women's only event held in Williamstown once a month (although I believe Ludwina has plans to move it around Melbourne a bit, shortly).

If you're a chick based in Melbourne, this is so THE event I would recommend above all others. I'll be there tonight - come and say hi!

Tonight's speaker, Wendy Moore, is awesome and one of my favourite people to follow on Twitter ...

Thought I'd quickly pop up details for tonight's event:

Featuring Wendy Moore from Savvy Web Women on...

"How to Use Social Media for Business Success"

* Have you noticed how everywhere you go, everyone is talking about Social Media?
* Why all the fuss about Twitter and Facebook?
* Can actively using these sites really lead to business success?
* Who has the spare time anyway to spend tweeting and chatting to friends online?
* Do I really need this?

The short answer is YES, you need to be online! But where do you start? You're busy enough without adding even more tasks to an ever growing list.

Wendy Moore will explode the myths around Social Media and show you how you can easily use Social Media in your business and, even more importantly, automate the whole thing. What's more, she explains it all in PLAIN, SIMPLE ENGLISH so you can finally connect all the dots.

Discover:

* The etiquette "dos" and absolute "don'ts" of Facebook and Twitter

* The faux pauxs social media beginners make and how to avoid them the secrets to maximising your impact online with minimum time input from you

* How to be "seen" online, even when you are on holiday!

* Simple, quick ways to attract followers specifically targeted to your niche or business

* The must have "secret formula" every savvy business owner needs to fasttrack your online success

Just a personal gripe.... why is it that women are so much more active than men in organising gender specific networking. I can't remember the last time I saw an exclusive men's networking event!

I feel better now!! (lol)

Well go on, then ... organise a men's one!

I think, personally, that particularly as entrepreneurs a lot of us feel like we live in a male-orientated world ... and we keenly feel the need to escape every now and then and get a good dose of femininity back in our lives.

I know 95% of my interaction in business tends to be with men - and that's cool, I love 'em ... but sometimes I get too carried away with my masculine and I need to go and unwind with my feminine ...

Meanwhile, men are at home in the masculinity of business ...
