I sensed some familiarity with the training industry... we might catch up later on some inhouse stuff and it's good to know there's another industry colleague in the forums!

I have also looked at the RPL for another course but gave up because it was too hard to track down supporting evidence for some of my claims. I left it too long and my work mates and managers had moved on.

Best practice RPL these days does not rely solely on tracking down sources of evidence from previous employment. i.e. You still have the work skills and knowledge even though your workmates have moved, and previous managers can't supply references anymore.
There are many and various methods and tools available to end up with the required evidence, so that course should still be available as an option.
