Default DIY PR for small businesses

Hi there! Have just had this site recommended to me by a member and it's great! I have a new DIY PR website at www.handleyourownpr.com.au and it sells targeted media lists and a press release writing service for small businesses to get their own publicity (particularly good if you are working on a shoestring!). On the site we explain the whole process and how to get coverage for your business - whether it is a product or service, B2B or B2C. Take a look and tell me what you think!

I also have a 'full service' PR business called Handle Communications (with my business partner, Simone Heydon) where we get publicity for many new products and services. Take a look at www.handle.com.au. I also have a business (again, with Simone) called Handle Ideas where we create products for the market. We have a range of favour vouchers called I O YOU which John Sands will be releasing in Australia and New Zealand in May this year, as well as a couple of other great parenting products: Sucker (turns water bottles into baby's bottles) and Baby Sticky Bowl that secures children's food bowls to their high chair tray or any flat surface. I am also, just for the hell of it, trying to get a TV show for Mums and another one for kids off the ground in Australia. Not bad for one woman with a husband and three kids!!

Wow I am exhausted just reading all of that! Had a quick look at your website, looks great and have bookmarked it to have a better look tomorrow. Anything that can save us money in the marketing area is a winner with me.
Good luck with it.

Great article and excellent websites for the small business owners who are restricted on what they can spend.
I have recently set up my own business MSA Professional Services (www.msaprofessional.com.au) which focuses on Professional Editing and Proofreading. I am looking for inexpensive ways to market my business and get my name out there and build my client list.
