Hello,

I've stalked around here for a few years and have finally decided to become a member.

I was a freelance Television commercial 3D animator for years and just started up a company this year with a long time work colleague. Well, we're on the marketing train at the moment and trying to figure out our place inside the odd world of Social Media..

First 6 months were great really. We set up the company and didn't want to buy any equipment, software, office space until we scored our first big job. We waited about a year(working freelance still) until that job came along, then once the first payment cleared, we set up the studio. As luck would have it, all of our contacts had jobs for us in the first 6 months, and that kept us financially rolling along nicely.
It's been such a great ride for me. I've wanted to start an animation company since I was 20 (I'm 35 now) and I absolutely love keeping the books organised and freelancers paid..

I just had a look at your website and love your typography. We're pitching on some motion graphic pieces at the moment, would you be interested on doing some style frames on a job in the future?

The Dow Agro job took us about 6 weeks with 2-3 people working on it. That was our first big job under the company banner.
