Greetings fellow soloists!

This is Matt Milgrom from Cognium Creative and I'm a career-change graphic designer.

Nearly 4 years ago, I escaped from boring myself to living death in Corporate IT after 15 long years. Oddly, the skills I built up as a professional techie have actually helped me in my creative endeavours. (Must...suppress...inner...geek!)

Inspired by the festival of inspiration which was Flying Solo Live, I've decided to start benefiting from the forums. I'm glad I did.

A quick trawl has already revealed plenty of gold, and that's no surprise really: "small business owner" is simply a euphemism for "entrepreneur".

Thanks to everyone who made last Wednesday such an entertaining, enlightening and inspiring day.

I had a quick check of your website, it looks great, the only problem I has was I couldn't scroll vertically in Firefox? I haven't checked any other browsers yet.

I've checked your website and yes, it doesn't work on firefox. I only use firefox as I hate explorer lol.. firefox is awesome and it seems like explorer is copying firefox nowadays..

But anyway, congratulations on getting out of the "prison", and all the best with your business!
