Hello to all!

I’ve been hanging around the flying solo web site for a while enjoying the articles and newsletters. Now I'm taking the plunge and joining the forum.

While I’m not strictly a soloist in my current role -- marketing manager of a visual communications company -- in a previous incarnation I spent 16 years as a self employed graphic designer. So I know what it’s like to ‘go it alone’.

My area of expertise is signage, display and visual communications. I look forward to making a contribution to this community from time to time.
