Hi Everyone

Nice to meet you! I'm Lucy, I've just moved here from the UK where I run a wedding advice website for Brides looking to cut the cost of their big day.

I'm based in Sydney near Bondi - with all the other English people.

I've been looking over the site and seen loads of helpful tips and advice already - I hope I'm able to offer some back in return at some point.

My advice on the cut price wedding video. Get two of your friends to shoot the ceremony. Make SURE they use tripods and keep their finger OFF the zoom button. One camera should be a close up and the other a wide shot Keep at least one of the cameras as close as possible to the action, that way you get decent sound. They now have editable footage. They can then edit it themselves or have it professionally edited. At the reception, hand the cameras around and get video messages. Again don't zoom or pan too much.
