I think I read direct mail was around 2-3% conversion, so I imagine non-direct mail would be very low.. Any idea of what kind of sample size you need to trial to get any solid stats?
Cheers, | Yes, flyer distribution ROI is much lower than direct mail. You can get hit rates up to 80% with direct mail if you know your target market. Of course, a lot of the work begins with a good database. Non-direct mail is still useful, but it's more likely to be used by the big companies as an brand imprinting technique.
As I said Direct Mail conversion can range anyway between 1 and 80%. Even if you only get the business of one customer, a direct mail campaign can soon pay for itself!
