New to Flying Solo and Real Estate

Greetings all, I have recently discovered the amazing resource forums are and flyingsolo is no different, looking forward to posting alongside all of you in the future.

I'm 32 and have been investing in property for about 10 years, in the end I have just plain and simple got sick of getting ripped off by property managers providing poor service for my dollars, so I thought why not just do it myself.

So here I am, 3 months later, about 10k spent on setting up my business and I'm hoping like hell now that its going to pay off. I haven't taken the plunge and left my full time job as I am still very nervous about it all. But I have a passion for real estate and providing great customer service, so I'll be giving it my best shot and who knows what might happen.

Anyway, I look forward to hearing back from others about losing their small business virginity and any other stories you might have.

Goog luck Shane, property management isnt all that hard, and real estate, once you understand the laws involved is a breeze.

So just take a deep breath and provide a service that is better than any REA in your area , and that wouldnt be hard, youll be in like Flynn.

I would probably add "consistently" to that too. We can all do something different from time to time, but you need to do it regularly and often!
