Christmas shopping!!

Well after walking aimless through countless shops today I still have not finished the shopping....

I went into a city food court today and spent about 45 mins trying to find a place that sold a plain pie and chips with some gravy, I gave up.

What happened to pie and chips with gravy?

What happened to the Dingy mission brown kiosk in Woolworths that I used to love so much.

What happened to the place in Harris Scarfes that was a help yourself smorgasboard? Looks like its turned into a Boost Latte mega cafe, so depressing.

I think Im starting to get old.

Hi Adam,

I obviously have been away from Adelaide for too long...! There used to be a Balfour's Pie shop near Woolworths in Rundle Mall and a bakery downstairs in Myers Food Court. Last time I made it into Adelaide city about 2 1/2 years ago things had changed a fair bit so I can only imagine that maybe none of these actually exist anymore. Would pop down there and check it out for you but I'm kind of a bit far away (I now live up in Brisbane). Maybe there is a fellow Adelaideian that can help Adam out here?

BTW, I get the feeling I know your name and face from somewhere. I used to work in SA Government, maybe we have crossed tracks along the way?
