As some of you know, I've been running writing groups for kids in Footscray for the last 4 years. I've struggled the whole time with a total lack of support insofar as getting more people to come along and use our system to work with kids, 1:1 ... a lot of people want to throw money at the problem, but I need TIME ... YOUR time!

If anyone is moved, after watching this, to get involved ... PLEASE contact me! There are SO many kids out there who need your help ... I've posted this on Facebook and Twitter and we're starting to get some interest! Yay! So if you REALLY want to throw money at us, we'll take it ... - but your time is invaluable ...

The video is inspiring and there are so many needs. I hope you do well with this Leela and that people from the area can respond. Perhaps you could edit the post or use a new one to ask for people in Footscray VIC and surrounding areas?

I've got Footscray and many parts of VIC covered ... I've been at this for a while! I'm just as interested in talking to people from all over the country who are interested in helping ... in using the model and with out support, replicating what we've achieved here ...
