Default Gold Coast groups?

Hi, I’m loving this site. It has taken me a while to find a website/forum that is actually active.

My question is, are there any Gold Coast based business networking/ meet-up groups around? I can’t seem to find any locally based.

I'd love to join too!
I've just started my business as a mobile florist, specialising in commercial and home flowers.
I have kids, so it might be a little hard for me to join the meetings, but it'll be good to connect with business owners on the GC

Hi,

If anyone within this forum would like to organise a Gold Coast-based business networking group I have a website that might help. The domain is www.funseekers.com.au. It is a multi-activity social networking site for special interest groups and it is a completely free service.

Simply sign in and enjoy unlimited access to fully editable group and event templates, personalized invites and interactive forums, galleries, multimedia slide-shows and much more. It is simple to create a group and to upload associated events of interest, and as I mentioned it is a completely free service.

The groups can be as formal or informal as you like. It's simply another way to connect with like-minded people on the Gold Coast who are 'flying solo' or about to take the leap.

Hi there,

I am on the Gold Coast too but have found lots of business networking groups, perhaps they may be of benefit to you too?

I am a member of BNI ( Business Networking International) but also attend the local southern Gold Coast Creek to Creek Chamber of Commerce events once a month. There is also a local lady named Terri Cooper who runs great networking events on the Gold Coast and Brisbane, and I have heard good things about John Hurds Tweed Networking Group too. Let me know if you would like some more ideas suited to your particular part of the Gold Coast, as there are a lot of great events out there!

Vanessa R.

You could phone my friend Lavinia who coordinates the Pink Pussy Cats networking group. Phone 5526 6637 in the evening.

Hi, I run a small meditation school on the Gold Coast... based in Palm Beach. I run mediation classes and do hypnotherapy for weight loss and smoking cessation. You didn't say what your interests are?
