When I check the settings you mention, they all appear to be right - i.e. I'm subscribed to the Thread and my Edit Options is set to immediately send me update emails?

I appreciate I should try ad get into the habit of visiting the forum more often, but there are just soooo many these days, it's hard to keep up!

If the issue is with PMs, try going to the Control Panel (in the grey bar above the forum) and choosing Edit Options.

If the issue is with threads you have subscribed to, I have checked the back-end and this seems to be turned on for you, so we are a little confused as to what is going on and would like to fix this for you if we can. The first suggestion is to add news@flyingsolo.com.au to your address book in case the emails are being treated as junk mail.

Secondly, try choosing 'Thread tools' in the grey bar at the top of the thread, and selecting 'Subscribe to this thread'. All being well you should start receiving emails when a new comment is posted here.

It is called "Solo Connections" and will be held at 9am on the last Monday of every month.

there didn't appear to be much interest in Nov/Dec for Brisbane networking with only 1-2 people at the last couple of events. Happy to include you in anything further. If you know of others who would like to attend, maybe we could get some interest going.
