Hello again to all Brissie Flying Soloists! It's time I arranged another Brisbane meet-up. Please RSVP if you're able to attend, preferrably by responding here, or by emailing me.

Date: Thu 3rd June 2010
Time: 11.30am
Venue: TBA - I'm considering an Indian restaurant at Mt Gravatt who has kindly offered for us to hold our event there. Since the other two events have been on the northside, perhaps it'd be fair to hold the next one on the southside.

I'll post definite venue details soon.

I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible (and seeing some of you again) on the 3rd!

I can guarantee a nice experience at Loving Hut, a restaurant I worked at for a couple of years and helped setup - and there's Coffee Club next door for coffee.

It's vegan food but designed to satisfy everyone and I always get good responses from anyone I take!

Great that Flying Soloists are meeting up in Brisbane.

Unfortunately I am working all day Thursday so can not attend a southside event.

I am speaking at the next Brisbane International Business Women's Breakfast, Wednesday 2 June 2010 at Cafe Melange, 1 Parkland Boulevard, Roma Street Parkland.

Topic is "Happiness is a Positive Cash Flow"

When: Wednesday 2 June 2010, from 7am until 9am

Covers a lot of the topics I write about here at Flying Solo. Maybe I will see some Brisbane soloists there!

Hello again all

I was thinking of the Stafford Tavern for the meet-up this Thursday 3rd June. The response has been unfavourable regarding a southside venue for this particular time and I know the Stafford Tavern is a great place to meet, eat and talk.

As Thursday is just 4 days away, please let me know asap if you plan to attend. Please also invite a friend. There is no charge to come along, just buy yourself a coffee and/or lunch while there.

Hi Rebbecca! Yes, definitely an 11.30am start. We haven't met yet and I'd love to talk to you about your technical writing! That's something that I don't do, and when asked about that kind of service, I'd like to have someone in mind.

Oh I'm excited now lol! Been over a year since I've had a chance to get out of "mummy mode" and back into "soloist" mode - been on semi-maternity leave. But now it's time to jump back in!
