I use it all the time, several times per week. Great for getting small things done, or for fixing something I've been stuck on. I also use oDesk which is perfect for larger pieces of work

My company had the bright idea of getting instructional and promotional videos done on fiverr.com. One or two are serious but most are hilarious. This sort of thing is great for viral marketing. People talk about them on Facebook and Twitter because they are funny. Spreading our message. And they only cost us $5!

Check them out and see what you think (my favourite is the guy singing the rap song in the shower).

I've made $40 so far on Fiverr. Not sure if against Forum TOS posting , but link is here

It's just a bit of fun & I'm offering 3d rendering of house plans, some graphic design tasks and WordPress stuff. Fiverr just upgraded me to have the extra 'levels' so I'll try seeing how I go getting more serious on the arch viz stuff.

I've bought some basic SEO services on Fiverr, and got value for my money.

I love fiverr.....I have all my articles edited and proofread and even got a fantastic press release done. I now have two favourites that I know on a first name basis because I have given them so much work. Unfortunately, I no longer use my Melbourne proof reader who has done some work for me in the past. All this type of work goes to fiverr now. The quote I received from my local proof readers was about $300-500. However, my investment with fiverr has only been $60 for 12 articles (approx. 700 words each)

I would love to support my local proofreaders that do this as a living but I am also on a budget, so this seems to be a very affordable option. The articles were all edited and proofread by two professionals in USA and so far, 8 articles have been accepted for publishing.

One hint if you want to use fiverr for business. Make sure you choose the high rating sellers and check out their reviews, helps alot when choosing the right person. I went through 6 before I found my 2 favourites.

Wanted to try out fiverr for articles, just want to make sure I receive high quality informative stuff rather than something that's just been pulled from the writers a** ?

Do you get good quality?

great to see there are some people getting good value from fiverr.
My latest gig was a radio ad for my home business, which will be aired on Thursday. very professional sounding, and they have 4500 regular listeners, so hoping for good results. Can't attach mp3s unfortunately, but here is the gig:

Hi Angela,
Yep....used the Las Vegas Man about 4 months ago.....nothing came of it but it was so much fun hearing him talk about my product in an American voiceover on radio. I have posted it on my media section of my website below.

Hi Nick,
The person I got to write my press release you can find by searching her name power2believe , she was really good. But for $5....I actually asked 3 different people to write my a press reelase and she was the best by far.

Thanks
Emanuela

Hi,

Agreed, very hit and miss, although overall for a minimal outlay you can get some interesting stuff made up.

I had some promotional videos made up for a youtube channel and found it a very amusing experiance :-)

Cheers

Had a really cool vector pic made up of family dog for a fiverr... Really looked like her and must have taken a while... Printed myself on various things as presents..
