Default Fake company details for advertising

Hi All,

I am working on some advertising (web based and print) I need to create a fake company, basic logo, name etc.

I just wanted to check how best to approach selecting a name etc. without infringing any copywrite trademark issue.

I thought about 'Fake Company Pty Ltd' but that just seems a little cheesy.

anybody else needed to do this?

It is for marketing to the real estate industry, and I want to create a 'template' of a sales letter as a real estate agent, so need to create a fake real estate agent.

You could always use an existing, fictional business name. Like the real estate agent from The Simpsons. (I can't recall the name.)

Awesome, good call - it was Red Blazer Realty (thanks Wikipedia) (I can already picture a logo, a red blazer in the shape of a house!!!!)

i know this us a little OT but it would be cool if your web based advertising would allow the input of a companies details

ie, you have a "create a template" web page, they pick a design, then enter their company details, the POW! preview of what their template would look like with their info.

then they can print of a watermarked version

would mean you didnt need to get a fake name

AgentMail likes this.

Thanks Gossipism,

That is in my pipeline for my next project (probably 12 months in the future), where, in particular, agents will be able to go online, upload their images, their logo and text, click send and job done! My budget isn't quite there to invest in that properly yet, but it is on my radar.

This is more for an instructional video of how our process works, so it will show a letter template on screen, then being printed out, envelopes being printed, letter being inserted and then mailed.

LOL

Just be careful that they can't get you on copyright. Maybe change the colour of the blazer ...
