Default Value adding to Y.B.P. Facebook page idea. Creating an ACTIVE community.

Value adding to Your Business Profit's F/book page idea…

I'm building a community of users that engage with the f/book page so that it is ACTIVE with replies / comments / feedback / support etc.

We all know how important it is to be a part of a forum / community that is active with regular users, instead of talking to a brick wall…or a F/book wall.

What's involved? Jump on the newsfeed every 1- 3 days etc to view the business' page you liked and respond to their wall posts via one of the above mentioned ways.

This doesn't need to be a time consuming commitment, just a relaxed involvement.
Other Facebook users (and potential clients ) value these responses / comments and become more interested in reading your wall posts when they can see 'social proof' that '10 others liked this etc'.

My Facebook business page is

There's an example already posted from MinzBeadz.

P.S. I look forward to giving and sharing genuine feedback and support with other business' that there's an interest and connection with (I 'like' many creative arts).

Hi,

As I am very new to Facebook, I am doing massive amounts of reading (both on the FS forums and everywhere/anywhere else I can find) on how FB can best work as a business tool. Every single thing I read maintains that it must be used as a social tool, not just an advertising space where one puts new stock/prices up. I agree with you 100% that interaction is the way to go.

In participating over the last week or so in the link exchange elsewhere in this forum, I have tried to "like" those sites where I have an interest - if I am going to like other's posts and interact, then the interest factor should be there or it's a struggle to read anything! However, I have to admit to more than a little disappointment that the vast majority of "likes" I have made to other's pages have not resulted in the reciprocal like to mine.

Whilst it may not be accurate (and I am sure there are valid reasons amongst it all), it would appear that for many on FS, once they reached their 25+ likes and got what they wanted out of the exchange their interest in helping others has ceased. (And please note - I said many, not all )

So, in the end, part of me is really annoyed by those who didn't share the love, but another part is really quite happy that those who have liked my page (and whose page I have liked), as they are active with comments and stories and links. I can happily become involved and participate with these interstesting people!
