Get your marketing brain working: Which Test Won?

Inspired by Nominal's thread, and also because I can't find reference to it on Flying Solo, I thought I'd post up Anne Holland's "Which Test Won?"

This site is all about testing small things on websites and seeing which one communicated into the most sales, or equivalent. Using tests from companies the world over, they show you two screen shots and ask you to use your gut and tell them which one was the best test. There's archives of the tests, so I worked my way back through them to see what the most interesting tests were and how I could use those learnings on my own websites. I generally get about 75% of them correct, but there's some real doosies in there!

I seem to be about 75% at the moment too, and you're right, some take you by surprise. I really need to get some A/B testing going on my websites.

it's amazing how often we allow ego to take over by deciding for our customers and not testing.

We end up leaving so much money on the table for the humble but astute competitor take it and invest more in marketing to steal our existing customers and prospects.
