I'm playing around with my standard quote template at the moment, and would be interested to know what kind of term/life soloists offer on their quoted price for services. I started out saying 'Quote valid for 30 days from ...' but I'm now thinking 14 days might be better?

i think 14 days might be better. Leaving it at 30 might give customers extra time to put it off, find another source or feel like they're coping without the service and that they might not need it.

We personally quote for 14 days.. and have found this to be good enough.. I usually call up within the 2nd 3rd day in to see how its gone as if you haven't made the sale within that time frame then you need to know why and then work on that.

I would also go with 14 day terms. Keeps you and your service in their mind and still on personal terms (hopefully) for easy follow ups.
