Hi All!

My name is Sarah and I am a photographer in Adelaide. I have a question...what are the best ways to advertise?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

Depends on the market you are trying to capture.
Size of your advertising budget.

I notice you do events. Check out local event managers and reception venues. Then expand to the larger venues.
Editorials in newspapers look for as much FREE publicity as you can get.

Weddings, bridal salons. hairdressers.

Portrates through shopping centres.

Get your self some really good brochures of your work, and give them to the people you WANT to do busines with.

There my thoughts

Having done a lot of photographer's sites, I have a bit of experience with this.

1. Website - I noticed that your site ahs the "free site by Weebly" on it -- can you remove that? Even if you use www.bludomain.com for now and then get a custom job later, it'll make a better impression.

2. Blogging. Yes, it is mostly for other photographers, however, other photographers refer to each other.

3. Join Digital Wedding Forum if you havent already

4. Get in all of the directories, eg kidspot for your kids photography, e-bridal if you do weddings, Vogue forums if they have one etc etc

5. Events/local paper/Yellow Pages if that is the market you are looking for.

All of these should link back to a kick-arse website that showcases your work well. Some of the pictures are very lossy and dark -- maybe try re-exporting them at 80% JPG?
