Hi Everyone... To come back to this discussion, and correct previously posted comments on what is an acceptable abbreviation or change to an owner's name in a trademark application:

The following is extracted from the Trade Marks Examiners Manual of Practice & Procedure on this very topic...my emphasis in bold

"The full name of the applicant is required. A family name and a given name will be sufficient but a family name with only an initial will not.

At the end of the day, IP Australia will question certain things some times and at other times either not realise something should be questioned, or 'let it slide' - but in light of coming across the above whilst looking for something else today, I thought I would share to clarify more certainly on the previous discussion. Hope it's found useful by some
