Pty Ltd company, is it required to be shown on logo?

Hi All,
We're just in the process of starting up our own Property Maintenance & Handyman. We have registered our business name & pty ltd company.
We have our graphic designer who is putting together our logo & just wondering if we require to have Pty ltd on all of our business name signage including vehicle signage, business cards, flyers, fridge magnets etc. I know it must be on all documents including invoices, letterheads etcbut just wasn't sure if it had to become part of our logo as well??

Edit: You should also consider applying for your logo to be registered as a trade mark. There are some benefits to doing this - drop me a message if you want to know more.

No, you do not need to include the Pty Ltd, however it is good to use it in some circumstances with correspondence or interactions that you want to present as a company in our opinion.

Definitely a great idea to look at trademarks though for either the name if possible or the logo image.

If you look at some well known logos such as Telstra, Coca Cola, ANZ, and so on, you'll see that they don't. But look at the bottom of their websites, or on letterhead, official paperwork, then it will be on there.
