First of all I think you have a great looking web site so you are certainly part of the way there in my opinion.
I guess the first question is whether sales via the internet is your best strategy. Obviously you are selling to corporate clients and the product you are selling is essentially a promotional / marketing product - will these guys look on the net - or are you best off focusing on a direct marketing campaign that targets marketing and sales managers of your corporate clients?
Either way the net will continue to have potential to get you clients. Your choices then become three fold.
Email Marketing - where you buy a list and email potential clients
Pay per click Advertising - Adwords
Search Engine Optimisation. (
SEO)
Given your targets, I suspect that email marketing will pretty much be discarded as spam, so I doubt Id recommend that.
Pay Per Click Advertising is fantastic in the short term - but do be wary of the costs. I have no idea of your market, but we are starting to find some terms costing $3-4 per click - which is starting to get a little steep in my opinion.
SEO for me is the long term answer. Be wary of people selling you short term products - or one off listings - they don't work in my opinion. What you need is a long term relationship with an
SEO expert that enhances your website and builds traffic.
It takes several months to truly bare fruit, but after that you only have the ongoing cost of
SEO to contend with.
A final note on you business - I think it would be great for you to add other green promotional products to your offer. I heard of a label that has embedded solar cells and LED display that you can attach to light switches and lets you know how much energy you are using - apparently it can be branded - I dont have any details - just a though
