I say go for it - test your marketing and your product. No time is ever good for starting a business and if you have doubts then certainly don't do it.

Often people find excuses for not doing things they want to, don't have the finance, timing's not right etc then they hit 60 and have major regrets. Take the plunge, you'll never know unless you try. Along the journey make the necessary changes to make it a viable business. Always evaluate, if it's not working try something else. The end journey may not be what you envisioned but at least you set sail...
