Hi!
You have to stick to what you love. When you get the really tough days that tempt you to give in, thats exactly what you'll do if you don't have the passion for the business.
However, if you really love "business"... that's a different ball game. If you absolutely love business and everything that comes with it - looking at market research, calculating figures, using common sense and making concrete decisions... then you will quite often love any business you do.
If you want to start a business in a crowded market, then make sure you have a unique selling point which offers your customers something different than the rest, i.e faster, cheaper, better, gift incentive etc.
If you find a gap in the market for something then you have to have a general interest in the "something", and a love for business.
