Default Business Idea for someone

My 9 year old daughter has asked me to find someone to make the following product so I thought I would post here in case someone out in the universe decides to do so - and if you do please let me know so I can buy one !!!! Or if you know of something similar that already exists please let me know too!!

Can someone please launch a waterproof product that can be stuck to the shower wall so that children who have long hair and are having their hair washed have something to draw on whilst they undergo the very long and boring process of having all the knots combed out of their hair (a process which can take up to 20 minutes on a bad day). Apparantly it is very very boring and they need something to do to make it less so!

Thanks

Hahaha gotta love kids!

Go get one of those "magic doodle" magnetic things from Kmart and see how that holds up in the shower!

What about communication? Songs?

Be creative, you don't always have to get or buy something to give kids something to do.

As someone who has ass length long hair what the hell are you doing combing it whilst it is wet?! DEAR GOD NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

The hair is easily damaged if you comb it when wet as hair is at its weakest when wet.

Also, when combing or brushing go bottom to the top to prevent split ends

And +1 on the the story or sing a long.

Or even allow her to listen to her favourite tunes via an iPod?

lol - like that underwater slate! Oh don't worry - we do the singing and talking too - I thought she was being quite imaginative - maybe my singing is not so great!!! The ipod is a good idea though - that will probably sound a lot better As for combing her hair when dry - that is soooooooooooooo much more painful (as someone who also always used to have very long hair) - if you have a way to do that without it hurting feel free to share!! (perhaps via PM)

+1 for vstacy's " when combing or brushing go bottom to the top to prevent split ends " and adding- hold sections of hair VERY tightly in one hand while brushing from the bottom.

[off topic- I'm still struggling with the 20 minutes of precious water going down the drain lol]

oh goodness lol - ok let's get some things straight

Obviously I do not keep the water running for 20 minutes - it is only on to wash and then rinse - not during combing.

Yes I comb her knots out whilst hair is wet - and covered in conditioner - thought that was what conditioner was for??

If you want to volunteer to come round and comb knots out of dry hair of a 9 year old who is very active and hence very knotty and who has extremely thick hair feel free!

Yes I do communicate and sing to my daughter

Obviously she does not appreciate my singing too much

Yes I do know how to brush hair

This was never meant to be a post on the art of hair brushing. It was merely a light hearted idea for a product.

I think this is a good example of criticism over encouragement, and I'm guilty of this too!

I personally believe that it is also a good time to have a good chat and develop what is most important - family time, but giving your child something else to do while waiting will also develop multi-tasking skills.

no comment on the hair lol enuf already!

As for the idea i think it's a fabulous starting point for someone to develop.
kids have the best of everything these days yet showering is still rather dull apparently. All those creatives on here should be excited by the possibilities.
