Hi,

I have recently started a new business and use Westpac for banking purposes. I recently enquired about merchant facilities including the possibility of using an EFTP[OS machine and found the cost astronomical for a small business! The cancellation fee was $400!

I have been doing some online research and see that there are some alternatives. Has anyone any experience of using a facility not connected with their bank? I could also do with an electronic terminal as I do a lot of parties at clients houses and to be able to take card payments there and then will only help increase sales. Surely there has to be a cost effective solution out there?

Just an update to this. Merchant Central came back to me this morning with some quite reasonable prices compared to Westpac.

Can anyone vouch for their services?
